Murugan Abhishekam
The central act of devotion at our temple — Lord Murugan anointed with milk, honey, sandal, and rose water by the priests, while devotees gather in prayer.
At Thirumurugan Temple, worship is centred on Lord Murugan. Abhishekam, Archana, and Havan are offered on the great Murugan days and as the heart of our annual Chitirai Paruvam Kavadi Thiruvizha. Devotees are warmly welcomed to join and to co-sponsor at festival time.
Each form of seva listed below is held during the Chitirai Paruvam Kavadi Thiruvizha and on special Murugan tithis. Families wishing to co-sponsor are kindly asked to reach the temple office in advance.
