Move, sweat, and give. Dr. Pallavi Panchu runs a weekly Zumba Wellness class as a fundraiser for the Temple Trust. Open to all fitness levels — first-timers will be guided through the basic steps.
A fundraiser for the temple
Dr. Pallavi Panchu leads a weekly Zumba Wellness class with all proceeds going to Thiru Murugan Temple Trust Botswana. Everyone is welcome — no Zumba experience required.

Tips for a fantastic Zumba experience
- Wear comfortable clothes and supportive athletic shoes with good lateral support. Please bring a clean pair of shoes and wear them only inside the venue to keep the dance floor clean.
- Stay hydrated — bring a water bottle.
- Listen to your body — take breaks when you need to.
- Arrive 10–15 minutes early to change into your shoes and get ready. First-timers will be guided through the basic steps by the instructor during this time.
- Don't worry about keeping up perfectly — the goal is to keep moving and have fun.
- Avoid heavy meals for 2–3 hours before the session.
- Don't skip the warm-up or cool-down — they prevent injury and help your body recover.
- Allow the fitness instructor to lead without interruption. Suggestions and queries can be raised at the end of the session, unless something needs attention on the spot.
